RelevantKnowledge is a division of Comscore, Inc., one of the nation’s largest Internet research firms, boasting more than 2 million members worldwide. Our goal is to help industry understand digital content trends and patterns. Just as the television industry uses rating services to determine which are the most watched programs - and to affect the shows and commercials that air – businesses and media organizations rely on research reports from communities like RelevantKnowledge to understand how people view and interact with content on the Internet and on TV, and make informed decisions on their online marketing strategy. Because of this reliance, RelevantKnowledge panelists can have an impact on the information and services that are available both online and offline, and the manner in which that information and those services are presented.
Participating members are asked to install RelevantKnowlege research software on their computers. This software, which is easily installed and removed, collects data that allows RelevantKnowledge to identify Internet trends and behavior for the household. Additionally, members are invited to take part in online surveys. The optional surveys are designed to help companies understand members’ attitudes and interests on a wide variety of topics.
